Ludo
Ludo, the board game every family knows: four colors, a die and a race around the cross-shaped board. Roll a 6 to bring a token out, land on a rival to send it back, and get all four tokens home first.
Play against penguins (easy, normal or sharp), with friends on one screen, or online with up to 4 people in a room you share by link.
Also known as: Parcheesi, Parchís
How to play
- Roll the die. With a 6 you bring a token out of your yard and roll again.
- Move a token around the board; land on a rival to send it back to its yard (stars and start squares are safe).
- Enter your colored lane and reach the center with the exact roll. Bring all four home to win.
A bit of history
Ludo comes from Pachisi, a cross and circle game played in India for centuries; the simplified English version with a die was patented in 1896.
