Four Alike
Sixteen pieces, each one tall or short, light or dark, round or square, hollow or solid. Make a line of four that share any one of those traits.
The twist: you never choose your own piece. Your opponent picks the piece you must place, and you pick theirs.
How to play
- There are 16 pieces: tall or short, light or dark, round or square, hollow or solid.
- On your turn, place the piece your opponent chose for you, then choose a piece for them.
- Make a line of four pieces that share at least one trait.
A bit of history
A modern classic of abstract strategy from the early 1990s, loved because every piece is shared and the real decision is which piece to give away.
