Ludo

Ludo, the board game every family knows: four colors, a die and a race around the cross-shaped board. Roll a 6 to bring a token out, land on a rival to send it back, and get all four tokens home first.

Play against penguins (easy, normal or sharp), with friends on one screen, or online with up to 4 people in a room you share by link.

Also known as: Parcheesi, Parchís

How to play

  1. Roll the die. With a 6 you bring a token out of your yard and roll again.
  2. Move a token around the board; land on a rival to send it back to its yard (stars and start squares are safe).
  3. Enter your colored lane and reach the center with the exact roll. Bring all four home to win.

A bit of history

Ludo comes from Pachisi, a cross and circle game played in India for centuries; the simplified English version with a die was patented in 1896.
