The classic, on calm ice. Dig a square to see how many mines touch it, flag the ones you are sure about, and clear the board.
Your first dig is always safe. Easier levels use a smaller board with fewer mines.
How to play
- Tap a square to dig. Your first dig is always safe.
- A number tells how many mines touch that square (including diagonals).
- Flag the squares you are sure hide a mine. Uncover every safe square to win.
A bit of history
Mine-finding puzzles existed on early computers, but the game became world famous when it came free with desktop operating systems in the early 1990s.
