Peg Solitaire

The classic cross-shaped peg puzzle, in 3D. Jump pegs over each other until only one is left, ideally in the center.

There are eight boards, from a six-peg cross to the full 32-peg classic. Turn the camera around the board, undo as many moves as you like and ask for a hint when you get stuck.

How to play

1. Jump a peg over a neighbor, in a straight line, into an empty hole.
2. The peg you jump over leaves the board.
3. No diagonal jumps. Finish with a single peg; in the center is perfect.

A bit of history

Peg solitaire was popular in France by the late 1600s: a 1697 engraving shows a princess playing it. The 33-hole cross board is the English version.
