Four in a Row

Drop your discs and connect four in a row before your opponent: across, down or diagonal.

Play against the penguin, which blocks your obvious moves, or against a friend on the same device.

How to play

  1. Drop a disc into any column; it falls to the lowest free spot.
  2. Take turns with your opponent.
  3. Connect four of your discs in a line: across, down or diagonally.

A bit of history

Vertical four-in-a-row became a household game in the 1970s. In 1988 two researchers independently proved that the first player can always win with perfect play.
