Reversi
Place a disc so that a line of the other color is trapped between two of yours; every trapped disc flips. The board fills up and the color with more discs wins.
The penguin plays from careless to genuinely strong. Small dots show where you can play.
How to play
- Place a disc so that a straight line of your opponent's discs is trapped between your new disc and another of yours.
- Every trapped disc flips to your color.
- If you can't trap anything, you pass. When the board is full, most discs wins.
A bit of history
Reversi was invented in England in the 1880s. A version with a fixed starting position, published in 1971, made it popular around the world.
