Daily Word
Guess the 5-letter word in 6 tries. After each guess the letters turn green, yellow or grey to tell you how close you are.
There is one word a day, the same for everyone. Keep your streak, share your result without spoilers, and play practice words as long as you want.
How to play
- Type a real 5-letter word and press Enter.
- Green: right letter in the right place. Yellow: in the word, somewhere else. Grey: not in the word.
- Find the word in 6 tries. A new one comes every day.
A bit of history
Word-guessing games with colored hints go back to the pencil-and-paper game Jotto (1955) and the TV show Lingo; a daily web version became a worldwide hit in 2022.
