Grand Piano

A two-octave piano that sounds soft and warm. Play it on screen, slide across the keys, or use your computer keyboard.

Plug in a MIDI keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) and it plays with velocity and the sustain pedal, right in the browser. Works in Chrome and Edge on computers and Android.

Pick a song or load your own MIDI file: Listen plays it with falling notes, Learn waits for you to press the lit keys, at the speed you choose. Switch between piano, organ and marimba.

How to play

  1. Play the keys on screen or slide across them.
  2. On a computer: A S D F G H J K are the white keys, W E T Y U the black ones; Z and X change octave, Space is the sustain pedal.
  3. Have a MIDI keyboard? Plug it in and press Connect MIDI keyboard.
  4. Pick a song or load a .mid file, then Listen or Learn (it waits for the lit keys); set the speed.
  5. Switch the sound: piano, organ or marimba.

A bit of history
