Content

What should the QR code say?

palette

Style

Shapes, colors and gradient.

Dot shape
Corner frame
Corner center
Colors

Removes the dots in the bottom-right corner (the one without a square marker) with a rounded shape, using only the spare error correction.

add_photo_alternate

Logo in the center

Optional. An area of the code is cleared to fit it, so high error correction is recommended.

Error correction

Higher error correction tolerates more dirt or a bigger logo, but makes the code larger.

Encoding mode

“Automatic” picks the most compact mode your content allows: digits → numeric, UPPERCASE with few symbols → alphanumeric, everything else → UTF-8 bytes.

Size by mode and error correction

Tap a cell to use it. Highlighted: the smallest possible for your content.

Enables the more compact alphanumeric mode. Only use it if what you encode is not case-sensitive (for example, a domain with no path); in a URL with a path it can break the link.

Free QR code generator, no sign-up and no expiry

With this tool you create a QR code in seconds and download it as PNG or SVG, with no account, no watermark and no usage limit. The codes are static: the content is stored inside the pattern, so they work forever and don’t depend on any server.

How to create a QR code in 3 steps

  1. Choose what to share. A link, some text, the Wi-Fi password, a contact, a WhatsApp chat, an email, an SMS or a location.
  2. Customize it. Change colors, shapes and gradient, and add your logo in the center. The tool warns you if something could make it harder to scan.
  3. Download and test it. Save it as PNG or SVG, or keep it in My QR codes to edit later. Scan it with your phone before printing.

What kinds of QR codes you can create

Links and text, numbers, Wi-Fi (so guests connect without typing the password), vCard contact cards, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp with a pre-filled message, and map locations.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. There’s no sign-up, no watermark, no limits and no hidden paid version.

Do QR codes expire?

No. These are static QR codes: the content is inside the code and never goes through a server, so they can’t expire. If the content changes, you need to generate a new QR code.

What’s the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?

A static QR code stores the data directly in the pattern. A dynamic one points to an intermediate link that can be changed later, but it usually needs an account or subscription and stops working if you stop paying.

Can I add my logo to the QR code?

Yes. Upload your image and it is placed in the center. Because it covers part of the code, the tool raises the error correction automatically and warns you if the logo is too big.

Is what I type saved?

No. The QR code is generated in your browser and what you type is not sent to any server. If you use “My QR codes”, they are stored only in your own browser.

Can I use the QR codes for my business?

Yes. The codes you generate are yours and you can use them anywhere, including commercially. Always test the QR code with your phone before printing it.
