No ads. Ever.
Not on the site, not inside the games.
Why Goraku has no ads
After an operation, my mom spent months in bed. One afternoon I asked her why she wasn't playing the phone games she always used to play.
"It wears me out. They're full of ads."
That stayed with me. Playing is good for us: it keeps the mind active, lifts the mood and brings people together, especially when you're stuck at home. It shouldn't come buried under ads, and it shouldn't cost money either.
So I started Goraku Club: simple, classic games for everyone, from kids to grandparents. No ads and no sign-up.
AI is what makes it possible. It lets a tiny team build, translate and publish new games every week at a fraction of the usual cost, so the site can run on small contributions from the people who enjoy it instead of on advertising.
